Skope successfully concluded the first upgrade installation of the NYOX system at the Institute for Biomedical Engineering (IBT), a joint department of ETH Zürich and the University of Zurich.
The installation marks a significant milestone in the rollout of Skope’s next-generation field monitoring platform, which consists of brand-new hardware and a newly redesigned skope-fx software interface.

The NYOX system is a groundbreaking platform for field monitoring in MRI, designed to transform workflows by bringing processing hardware directly into the magnet room. This approach enhances handling, flexibility, and connectivity, leading to more reliable and efficient data acquisition. This new hardware is paired with the fully redesigned and enhanced skope-fx, a user-friendly software for field monitoring exploration. The software makes setting acquisition parameters, reprocessing data, and viewing results easier than ever before, offering a more intuitive user experience.
The IBT team, a long-standing super-user of Skope’s technology, was the first to receive the system upgrade. In just a few minutes, the team had the NYOX hardware unboxed and connected. The subsequent introduction to the new skope-fx software was met with significant positive feedback on the new features and overall user experience.
With this successful deployment, Skope kicks off a global upgrade and new system deliveries with the NYOX platform.
